After her relaunch in 2003, Adventuress began sailing in earnest during the summer of 2004. During this time, she competed in the Black Duck Regatta and the Newport Museum of Yachting Classic Regatta. She won her class at the Black Duck Regatta and finished third at the Newport Classic. At the latter, she received the ”Thomas Benson Memorial Restoration Award” for the outstanding classic yacht restoration of 2004.

Adventuress was featured on the cover (and the month of April) of the 2004 Barnes & Noble Classic Sail calendar by Daniel Forster. She has also been featured in several publications, including The Newport Daily News, the IYRS Restoration Quarterly, the Chagrin Valley Times features section (October 2004) and Sailing magazine (November 2004).

In October of 2004, she and her crew were photographed for a John Woolrich ad campaign for Europe. During the same photo shoot, the crew were interviewed for a documentary being produced for the Milan fashion show week.
